The Turnaround House
Andy and I just made an offer on a cute little farmhouse in Bountiful, Utah, that was built in 1926. We are still trying to finalize everything, but I am really hoping we can get it since I’ve fallen in love with it. Some investors bought it about six months ago and remodeled a lot of the inside. One of my favorite features of the house is the wall of reclaimed wood surrounding the original brick fireplace.
This house has so much charm that you don’t see in new homes today, which is why we’ve been fighting so hard to get it for the last week!
After learning some of the history on the house, I’ve affectionately named it The Turnaround House. Apparently, the back of the house used to be the front and the front used to be the back before the Larsen family (original owners) sold off some of their land to create the cul-de-sac where the house now resides. Hence the name, Turnaround House.
I can’t wait to get my hands on it and make it ours!!! Here are some pictures:
