Ghosts of Christmas Past

Ghosts of Christmas Past

Happy December!  When I was a little less busy than I am now, I used to have a goal to mail my holiday cards December 1.  It felt so good to be able to cross that off the list so I could focus on other holiday activities.  One reason I rarely make that goal anymore is because the last few years I started designing our holiday cards.  It takes more time but is a lot more fun than just picking one out.  I thought I would share with you some of my previous years’ Christmas cards. I call them the ghosts of Christmas past.

Challenges of Christmas Cards

One of the challenges of having a modern family is trying to get all the kids and step-kids together at the same time.  In previous years, I tried to represent everyone in the card without a picture.  However, this year, I missed having a picture so I decided to invite all of the kids who wanted to be in it.  Unfortunately we only got two out of five.  It was still fun to have a picture, but we wish we could get everyone in it.
