“There’s nothing like staying at home for real comfort.”–Jane Austen
Not every house is big enough to have a guest bedroom. Sometimes one of the kids has to give up their room temporarily while a guest comes for a visit. There are even occasions when floor space has to be assigned for guests…
Unusual Sleeping Arrangements
One time when I was in the college (the first go round), I stayed at a home where there were so many other guests that I was assigned the floor of a walk-in closet to be my temporary sleeping quarters. The hosts kindly put an air mattress on the floor, but that later popped (a funny story for another time).
Use What You Have
The point I’m trying to make is that we all do the best we can with what we have. This week on the blog I’m sharing with you ways to be a better host as well as ways to be a better guest (since both are so important)!!
In the meantime, I’m providing some pretty inspiration to get you thinking about guest bedrooms–what’s useful in them, what you can do to make your guests feel welcome, and what you can do to anticipate their needs.
Thanks for stopping by!
