You’re Cordially Invited

Have you ever been to a tea party before?  If you haven’t, then you will now because you’re cordially invited to mine.  I’m so excited to tell you that I’m hosting a tea party this week, and I really want you to come!  I decided to host a tea party in the bleakest part of winter because everyone needs something bright and cheerful to look forward to.  Tea parties are a fun excuse to get dressed up, use pretty dishes, and serve delicious finger foods along with a pot of tea.

When my girls were little, I bought them a little tea set (which we still have because I can’t bear to part with it).  I remember how much they loved having “tea.”  Even as girls grow up, they still love going to tea parties.  That’s why I decided to have one now.

Inspiration

The first thing to do when planning a tea party is find inspiration to help with your concept.  For my inspiration, I’m using candy-colored pastels.  I also created a mood board of ideas to help with my planning that you can see here.
