“Sweets for a Sweet” Valentine Label
Valentine’s Day is only a week away, so it’s never too early to start planning what you want to do. I’ve designed this cute bakery tag–“Sweets for a Sweet” Valentine label that you can use on gifts for friends.
I’m getting ahead of myself, though. Let me tell you a little backstory: When I was a kid, what I looked forward to the most on Valentine’s Day was making my Valentine box for school. Did you ever do that? I’d find a shoe box and cover it with construction paper and decorate it with stickers so my friends could put my valentine cards in it. It was always so exciting when I got home to read all the different valentines and pick out my favorites. I got asked out for the first time on a valentine when I was in second grade when a boy asked, “Will you go with me?” I was so freaked out by it that I pretended I never got it and ignored him every time I saw him. 🙂
Now that I’m an adult and my own children are no longer in elementary school, I don’t have an excuse to make paper covered Valentine boxes anymore. Something I can do, though, is make treats for my friends and families. Everyone loves homemade treats, and you can attach the Valentine bakery label I designed to the package to make it even more special. Tomorrow on the blog, I’ll be sharing with you how I used the confectionery label above.
Survey (I need your help)
On a completely different subject, I’m posting the questionnaire from Survey Monkey one more time. Thank you for those who answered the six questions–it’s helped so much! I would love it if I could get a few more answers. You can see the original post about why I need the survey here.
