Decorate Your Home For Halloween
When I was growing up, I couldn’t wait for Halloween decorations to come out in the stores. It was even exciting getting catalogs in the mail with Halloween products. I’m not embarrassed to admit that I still feel that way as an adult. You might remember I posted about the first decoration I ever bought with my own money here. And if you’re a regular reader of my blog, you might remember how I got into a Halloween decorating war with neighbors when I was a teenager. So as you can see, nothing’s changed! I still love to find cute ways to decorate home for Halloween!
I’m not a big fan of the gory side of Halloween, however. Vintage Halloween is my favorite, and I’ve assembled some really cute decorations that I found. There’s everything from throw pillows to tableware, and all of them are very affordable. I’ll be sharing my own home decorated for Halloween in Wilma Magazine’s October issue. There are also some really helpful Autumn resources from Creating Home. Homemaker’s Guide – Bringing Autumn To Your Home shares ten ways you can decorate your home for Autumn using your current design aesthetic. It’s easier to decorate for the season using what you already own. Finally, Wilma Magazine’s September issue shares ways to decorate your home for Autumn by gathering natural decor from outside. You can find limited quantities of the magazine here.
