What’s Really Important
Lately my family’s been watching a TV show about survival when the world’s falling apart. As civilization starts to break down, it becomes apparent that the only important things that matter are food/water, shelter, protection, and especially family. Love is what people care most about after the basic necessities of life are met. Love is what’s really important in the world.
Faith In Humanity
Watching the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey unfold, I’m so inspired by all the goodness in the world. Yes, there are still bad people doing stupid things, but most of the stories seem to be of people sacrificing, helping, and serving others who’ve lost everything. It really restores my faith in humanity knowing there are still good people who care. It’s sad that it takes a tragedy for this to happen. So many people have gone through so much in their lives already. I’ve been making lots of new friends on Facebook lately and listening to other peoples’ stories. There are some really good people in the world, and I’m so glad I’m getting to know them better–they make me a better person!
If you’d like to know more about what I do, it’s simple. I want to inspire others! It’s taken me a long time to figure out my path in life, but now that I have, I feel like it’s what I’m supposed to do. I’m a creative person by nature, and I’ve found three ways to do that–this blog, Wilma Magazine, and The Homemaker’s Guides. Hopefully you’ll find something to change your life!
