I love to have a new project to work on when the weather turns cold, and there’s time sitting in front of a fire or watching a movie. Now that I’ve finished The Sleepy Hollow project, I need to find a new Winter project to work on in down time. Whenever I visit my Mom, she always inspires me because she’s usually working on several projects at one time. It’s easy to get ideas from her because her house is like visiting a craft store! No matter what supplies I need, she usually has them!
Part of the fun of a new project is the anticipation and choosing what it’s going to be. When there are so many choices, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Since there are a lot of factors that play into the decision of a new project (time, space, and money), it helps to narrow the choices down. I tend to favor cross stitch projects because they’re easy to pick up and put down, and they don’t require a lot of space. I’ll keep you posted on what project I pick. Anybody have any great recommendations of a fun project to do this Winter? I’d love to know what you’re working on!
