Farmhouse Fall Decor
With the popularity of Fixer Upper and the Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas, the farmhouse look is really popular right now! It’s always been a favorite style because of its laid-back and effortless look that’s so refreshing. You can find a lot of fun Farmhouse Fall decor items at antique stores and local farmers markets. I’m a firm believer in shopping local and supporting small businesses. Some of the products I found are all from Etsy and other small shops. There are some really cute products out there!
One of the reasons I love the farmhouse look so much is because I live in a small 100 year old farmhouse. Farmhouses don’t take themselves too seriously. You don’t have to be too careful with them–you just live in them and love them. My house still has the original wood floors where the boards are only 2″ wide. They’re so scratched and worn out, but they tell a story and are full of history. I love being a part of it. You can see some of the posts I did on my farmhouse here and here.
