Merry Christmas From Wilma

I know a lot of you have been eagerly waiting for the December issue of Wilma Magazine to come out.  Just so you know, it’s hot off the presses and ready to be sent out to you!  Holiday issues are always special, and this one is even more so because it’s the first one for Wilma.  It’s been so fun watching the evolution and progress of Wilma Magazine from it’s infancy issue in April to this milestone holiday issue.  I know many of you may not think that’s a big deal, but for someone who had this crazy illogical thought come into their head one day, it’s huge!  I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas From Wilma and hope you enjoy the special holiday issue!

Each Issue Is Unique

Something that I’ve learned as a designer is that when a design is really good, it starts designing itself.  In the case of Wilma, I’ve learned that  often the content changes as the issue takes shape.  No matter how clearly I’ve outlined editorial content ahead of time, sometimes when I’m putting the issues together, for some reason it just doesn’t work.  For this holiday issue, I thought I knew what I was going to do, but when I was working on it, it went in a completely different direction.  I know a lot of writers have said the same thing about characters they’ve written, and I think it’s true with all creative endeavors.  Sometimes our creations take on a life of their own!  I just feel so fortunate to be a part of something like this, and I appreciate you subscribers who feel the same!

Finally, Wilma Magazine offers two subscription options–both print or digital.  The print subscription is $10/issue and covers the cost of printing and mailing to your home.  The digital subscription is $5/issue and is delivered straight to your inbox the first of every month.  You can subscribe to the magazine here and get any of the past issues 8 issues here.
