Life In The Country
May kicks off the first of the warm Summer months, which is the perfect time to take a trip to the countryside. What’s so appealing about country life is the slower pace and the chance to really enjoy day-to-day living being surrounded by nature. The May issue covers every facet of country life from houses and decor to lessons in simplicity. As Amos Bronson Alcott states, “There is virtue in country houses, in gardens and orchards, in fields, streams and groves, in rustic recreations and plain manners, that neither cities nor universities enjoy.”
Each Issue is Unique
If you’re a subscriber to Wilma Magazine, then you know that each issue is completely different from the others. They’re all seasonal and relate to interior design and homemaking, but each issue takes on a different theme and flavor. This country life issue was inspired by my parents’ seven acres of farmland at the base of the Wellsville mountains. Ever since they retired, their standard and quality of living has improved, and the May issue captures all of that. If you’ve ever dreamed of a slower, more peaceful life, then you’ll love this edition!
