Spring Has Brought Me Such A Nice Surprise
I got snow for my birthday. Usually at this time of year, it’s hit or miss with the weather. Last year at this time, we had beautiful weather, but maybe since it was Friday the 13th, the weather reflected the date! Luckily it only snowed in the morning, but in the afternoon, the sun came out. I took our dog, Aries, for a walk and when I passed under this blossom tree, I had to take a picture because it was so pretty. The blossoms reminded me of a song I knew as a child, Popcorn Popping. The lyric, “Spring has brought me such a nice surprise” refers to the blossoms that look like popcorn.
I had a weekend in Park City where the temperature was 25 degrees and snowy. It’s the off-season in Park City right now between ski season and the Summer season so it was like a ghost town. What I love about Park City is the wild West flavor. I’m doing research for Wilma Magazine on homesteading, so this was the perfect spot to spend some time. Andy and I had dinner at No Name Saloon and walked up and down main street. It was perfect!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes!
Have a great day!
