Home Until Home
About a year ago, Andy bought a camper that had been completely smashed on one side from an accident. He’s been restoring it and finally finished it recently. We decided to take it for its first trial run over the Memorial Day weekend. Since we didn’t know if it would have problems or not, we decided to do a short trip close to home. Just up the hill from our house is the Wasatch Mountain range, so we found a nice little camping spot for a couple nights. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but Andy and I have a goal to live in the mountains. We’re aiming for three years from now, but until we make that goal happen, our little camping trips will be our home until home.
The whole time we were up there, it just felt so right to both of us. When I was gathering firewood on the first morning, I just had an overwhelming feeling that this was going to be our future life. It’s not going to be now or anytime soon, but it’s definitely going to be our future. It was a great trip, even if it was short. We came back after two nights because it got really cold and stormy.
I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend holiday! Here’s to a great Summer!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
