Last weekend, Andy and I celebrated our anniversary. Every year, we like to go to a little Swiss restaurant in Park City called Adolph’s where they have yummy cheese fondue. A few years ago we went to Switzerland on vacation, and ever since then, we try and have Swiss food as often as we can. While we were up there, we decided to go look at some cabins near Park City. We found some land with a cabin on it that we really love. The cabin is not very functional, but the views from the cabin are incredible!
We’ve already named it “The Overlook.” Not only does it overlook a mountain valley, but because of where it’s located, it has an emergency radio. It reminded us of the hotel in Stephen King’s, The Shining, that takes place in a remote location in Estes Park, Colorado. Andy loves the movie, and we thought it was a fitting name for this little cabin.
I’m sharing some pictures from the beautiful canyon…can you imagine having a home with these views? If only we were so lucky! Utah is such a beautiful state, and I’m so glad we can call it home.
Here’s our anniversary picture from last year at the same restaurant:
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
