Last weekend, I tried two different times to make two different desserts, realizing too late that I didn’t have any flour for baking. I didn’t follow my own advice on stocking up on pantry staples yet for this year. I like to have my pantry fully stocked year-round, but especially before the cold weather hits. For some reason, I just haven’t gotten around to do my Autumn stock-piling yet so I missed out on my weekend baking. As you can imagine, there aren’t too many things you can make without flour.
Because of this mishap, I sat down and used Creating Home’s Pantry Stocking Guide to make a grocery list of everything I need to make sure I have a fully-stocked larder from now on. I’ve been dying to use my Autumn Loaf Pans this year, but until I get myself stocked up, it will have to wait. Pumpkin chocolate chip bread is my favorite thing to make in the cute little loaf pans you see in the widget below. What’s your favorite item to bake in the Fall?
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, have a great weekend!
