As I mentioned in a previous blog post, one of my favorite movies to watch at Halloween time is Arsenic and Old Lace. It’s a fun Frank Capra movie from 1944 starring Carey Grant and Priscilla Lane. It’s about one man’s two sweet maiden aunts whom he discovers murder lonely old men and bury them in their basement because they feel like they are relieving them of their loneliness. It’s silly, funny, sweet, and a little bit spooky.
Last year I found this cute cross-stitch pattern from the Little Stitcher that I downloaded and stitched. I need to get it framed so I can add it to my Halloween Salon Wall. It’s a fun reminder of one of my favorite holiday movies. If you’re interested in doing the cross-stitch sampler, you can find the pattern here from The Little Stitcher. If you’d like to watch the movie, Arsenic and Old Lace (1944), you can find a copy by clicking on the link.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
