Anybody who’s endured a long harsh Winter knows how glorious it is to notice the first sign of Spring. After months and months of darkness, cold, and endless gray days, the hope of Spring is what gets us through.
Whenever I first see a tiny bit of green poking through the snow, or hear the birds returning from their migration, it’s like a miracle. It’s almost as if a spark of life has been ignited inside me and suddenly I feel full of energy and life!
That’s how I’ve been feeling lately, and it’s a wonderful feeling! Over the weekend, Andy and I drove up to the mountains to hike to some land we’re interested in. Even though the snow is still so deep up there, it’s starting to feel like Spring’s in the air.
The air isn’t quite as biting as it has been, and the sound of birds chirping is wonderful to hear! As Doug Larson says, “Spring is when you feel like whistling, even with a shoe full of slush.”
Have you got that Spring feeling yet?
As always thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
