Love Story

Love Story

I know Valentine’s Day is over, but bear with me.  It was my intention to post this on Valentine’s Day, but the website was still under construction.  Posting it today is better than never, and who doesn’t want to hear a love story?!?

Andy and I knew each other a little bit growing up but we had one of those social media connections that started everything.  We were both going through pretty bad divorces at the time and reconnected on Facebook where a friendship developed.  We became each other’s support while we were both trying to navigate the upheaval of our lives.  As you can imagine, friendships can quickly develop into romances, and that’s what happened with ours.  We continued a long distance relationship while I was living in Utah and going through design school for four years, and he was living and working in Nevada.  Once I graduated from school, we both moved to the Salt Lake City area, bought a house, got married and have been together ever since.

It’s hard to put into words what a light he was during the darkest time of my life.  I truly believe that people come into our lives for a reason when we need them most.  We both realize how different our lives would have been had we not crossed paths when we did.  He has been the most supportive husband and the best father to my children, and I’m so lucky to have him in my life.

How did you meet?

I would love to hear how you and your significant other met (if you feel comfortable sharing)!

Either way, I hope your Valentine’s Day was full of love!
