Valentine’s Day Heart Craft
Are you looking for a simple easy project to do for Valentine’s Day? Try making these Valentine’s Day Heart Craft pillows! They’re very easy to make and will only take a short amount of time. Once made, you can either give them away as gifts or decorate your home with them. What I love about these little heart-shaped pillows is that they’re so versatile. They can be hung with some ribbon or grouped together in a bowl or tray. All you need is some fabric (red, white, and/or pink) and a sewing machine (or needle and thread if you don’t have a sewing machine).
If you’ve got scraps of material around, you can use those for the hearts. The ones I made measure approximately 3-4,” but you can make them any size. Just use the pattern provided below to make your hearts. Place the long edge of the pattern on the folded edge of the fabric and cut out half the heart. By cutting the pattern out on the fold, you can open the shape you just cut out and it becomes a whole heart. With wrong sides together, sew the heart, leaving a small opening where you can stuff it. Once stuffed, use your needle and thread to close the heart. You can also attach ribbon if you like for an additional detail.
