Summers last such a short period of time, don’t they? I was just thinking the other day that most of them generally revolve around something–a vacation, a trip, or a big move. Maybe it’s because of their short length, but I remember vividly some big event or activity that takes place each Summer. It becomes sort of a theme for the season. This year, our family’s Summer theme seems to be water and mountains.
When we’re not working, we spend our time a Lagoon-A-Beach, the water park that’s ten minutes from our home. Andy got us season passes for Christmas, so we go a few times a week. Because Utah has had a very hot Summer this year, we’re going more than we ever had before. If we’re not at the water park, we’re camping or looking at land for our future mountain home. We’ve spent as much time up in the mountains as we have in the water. We both feel very lucky to live in Utah with the possibilities of both. We’re definitely having a Summer of adventures!
You can read more about Summers of Adventure in August’s issue of Wilma Magazine that comes out August 1.
What’s the theme of your Summer this year?
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!
