A Season For Everything
Utah has been having the most beautiful Fall weather–cool mornings and warm afternoons. What’s even better is that we’ve been able to spend the past few weekends up in the mountains getting firewood, so we’ve seen the progression of leaves as they’ve changed color. It seems so fast this year! There really is a season for everything, and Autumn is my favorite! As I’ve been off social media for about a month now, I’ve had a lot more time for introspection and thinking. I really want to simplify my life, slow down, and just enjoy the simple things. It’s been refreshing to say the least.
Low for the week: We found out yesterday that the property we’ve fallen in love with and wanted to purchase was just sold. We’ve been up there four or five times and love everything about it, so we were so heartbroken to hear that it’s gone. I’m trying not to get too discouraged, but it’s very hard. I feel like that dream is dashed…
High for the week: I’ve got an idea for my next book! It’s going to take some time and won’t be ready for a few years, but I’m really excited about it!
Some Autumn Goodies
If you’re looking for ways to get your home your home ready for Autumn without having to go out and buy a bunch of stuff, check out The Homemaker’s Guide of Bringing Autumn To Your Home. There’s one for each season of the year.
Finally, it’s never too early to think about Halloween! Creating Home has two vinyl clings that are perfect for your door or windows. They are made to order, so plan on a week to ten days to get yours. There are two options to choose from–the witch and the Headless Horseman.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great Monday!
