This year, I’ve decided to be more simple in my Christmas decorating. I’m using a lot of natural greenery, pinecones and fruit, as well as candlelight. Not only has my taste changed as I’ve gotten older, but I’m trying to use as many gathered items as possible. My goal is to be mindful of what I have to store year-round, especially since eventually we’ll be living in a small mountain cabin. I might as well start getting in the habit of editing how I decorate for the holidays. The Tenth day of Christmas post is a simple but pretty bell wreath for the front door.
I’ve always loved bells at Christmastime. In fact, last year’s December issue of Wilma Magazine featured bells in the holiday issue. If you missed getting a copy, you can still find it here. Metal bells are really popular right now, especially on wreaths for the holidays. I’ve had mine for a few years, and I just attached them to a wreath and hung them from a ribbon hanging on my front door. It’s an easy and beautiful Christmas decoration that anyone can do. If you’d like to make something similar, I’ve linked to some green wreaths and similar bells in the widget below.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
