A few weeks ago, Andy and I went to Golden Spike National Park to see the 150th Anniversary celebration. Andy’s grandfather was one of the vice presidents of the Union Pacific Railroad, so it was a really fun experience, especially for him. We loved watching the re-enactments as well as the chance to see historic villages, covered wagons, and stage coaches. In a way, these images are symbolic for us because they represent the new life adventure Andy and I are about to embark on.
This Summer is going to be the season of change for us. I’ve been posting for a while about our desire to move to the mountains, and we’re in the process of trying to making that happen. We’re trying to figure out all the details with buying our dream land, selling our house, and figuring out future living arrangements. Needless to say, it’s a little crazy over here (hence the short blog posts). I’ll keep you posted!
Until next time, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
