As Andy and I have been getting our little farmhouse ready to sell, one of the things I’ll miss about it is the roses. Every Spring and Summer, we cut roses from our garden and display them around our home. I love the fact that they come from our property, and every time I look at them, they make me smile! On Monday, the professional photographer came to take photos of the house for the sale listing, and as I was looking around, I got emotional. It’s going to be hard saying goodbye to The Turnaround House!
Moving is so strange. I’ve done it so many times in my life (this will be my 15th move), but the older I get, the harder it becomes. This house especially will be hard to leave. Even though we’re so excited about our future home and land, over the last four years, we put a lot of our hopes and dreams into this little house. Even our real estate agent commented about how well we’ve taken care of it and how it shows so well (even though it’s 100 years old and has lots of wear and tear). We’re definitely going to miss it!
Hopefully the next family will love it as much as we have!
Onto the next adventure…
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
