We’re coming up on the Fourth of July, and although we’ll be moving sometime this Summer, I can’t help but decorate for the holiday! My focus these days is on de-cluttering and deciding what to store, discard, and pack. There’s also the frequent house showings, but it just wouldn’t be a holiday without some red, white, and blue. And I just adore these vintage Patriotic decorations!
I made the patriotic fabric stars and bunting a few years ago and like to use them every year. I saw some bunting like this at a Cath Kidston shop in London while I was on a study abroad trip and decided to make some for home. I have another bunting set that I use for all my kids’ Summer birthdays as well.
Both the bunting and patriotic fabric stars are very easy to make. What I love about them is their handmade quality that you can’t find in the store. “Bold stripes, bright stars, and brave hearts!” How are you decorating this year?
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
