Featured in Birdie’s Hallowe’en Decorating and Entertainment Guide are sketches of our three “Ghost Hosts” by our artist-in- residence, Megan Baker. You may recognize Megan’s name from this blog as the talented artist who painted our grandparents’ portraits (here and here). I’m lucky to call her a sister as well. Megan has been an artist for most of her life and works in the medium of charcoal, pastels, and oil, although oil is her favorite. She is exceptionally talented, and we’re lucky she agreed to contribute her ghost sketches to Birdie’s Hallowe’en.
When you get your copy of Birdie’s Hallowe’en Decorating & Entertaining Guide, you’ll learn all about the three “Ghost Hosts” and can see how well Megan captures the ethereal presence of the ghosts that complements their back story so well. The three sketches include The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, The Blackwidow Bride, and The Weeping Woman (or La Llorona). All three sketches can be purchased individually or as a set and mailed to your home directly from the artist-in-residence. The sketches will be printed on 11″ x 14″ high-quality artist paper. Like all new Birdie’s Hallowe’en products, they will be available on September 16 when the doors open.
In the meantime, don’t forget to reserve your copy of the Hallowe’en Guide so you can see Megan’s original commissioned work (link is below).
You can also get your FREE copy of Birdie’s Hallowe’en – Introduction to Ghosts as a sneak peak of what’s to come in the Decorating & Entertaining Guide (link is below).
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
