I can’t believe tomorrow is the day before Hallowe’en! As I’m looking out my window right now, it’s snowing. The seasons have already transitioned from Autumn to Winter up here, so it’s going to be very strange celebrating Hallowe’en with snow on the ground. I guess Winter has arrived all over northern Utah, though, and not just the mountains. These pictures were taken down in the valley at Lagoon Amusement Park over the weekend before the latest storm hit. Despite the weather, we’re still trying to squeeze in as much Hallowe’en as possible in these last few days with candles, spooky movies, and yummy goodies!
A few nights ago, we got into the hot tub for the last time before Andy took it down for the year. It was snowing pretty heavily so I wore a baseball cap to keep the snow off. It almost looked like a whiteout because it was so hard to see. At one point, I got hit with several giant clumps of snow and had no idea what happened. It was almost as if someone was throwing snowballs at me. Andy said it just fell from the tree branches, but I’m wondering if Josephina, our 100 year old ghost, followed us from The Turnaround House in Bountiful. You never know! It’s the time of year for ghosts, and I wasn’t even sitting under a tree then!! Yikes!
No matter where you live, I hope your last minute Hallowe’en preparations go well.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
