I spend a lot of time at my desk on my computer, so I need to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible (that’s the designer in me). For me that means lots of natural light, no clutter, candles, and something fun to look at. My Hallowe’en office vignette has been a lot of fun to create, especially because most of my holiday decorations are buried in boxes in our store room so it’s difficult to get to them. It’s forced me to be creative!
I did manage to dig out this little cross stitch sampler I did a few years ago as well as the bats and candle holders. I guess that’s going to be it for Hallowe’en decorating this year. The small apothecary jar holds some pretty flowers that are at the end of their life cycle. I found them in the front yard and loved their color.
Luckily none of it takes up very much room, so when I’m working, it’s nice to look up and see something other than a wall. Do you decorate for Hallowe’en? Even though it’s my favorite holiday, I’ve become something of a minimalist. I like creating small little vignettes like this one. I find that if I have less up, I appreciate it more.
Until next time, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
