As the holidays are getting closer, it’s dawned on me that I won’t be decorating much this year. The rental cabin is too small for a Christmas tree. There’s no fireplace, so there’s not anyplace to hang stockings. Besides that, all my Christmas decorations are buried in a storage room that’s packed with boxes from floor to ceiling. It’s too overwhelming to even think about finding anything in that room. Can it be Christmas without decorations?
I’ve celebrated Christmas without presents before, but I don’t know how to celebrate Christmas without a tree or stockings. The only thing I kept out when I was packing the Turnaround House was two Christmas salad plates. I don’t want to buy anything that will only be used temporarily in this cabin, so I’ll probably just use some natural greenery, my two plates, and the Winter wonderland views outside our cabin windows.
Have you ever had Christmas without any decorations before?
Until next time, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
