Now that the weather has turned to Winter up here (we’re supposed to get snow every day this week), I’ve been cross-stitching in all my free time. Remember how I started this companion piece during the Spring? Well, I finally finished it! Now I just need to drive up to Logan to get it framed. I wanted to do two similar pieces that were approximately the same size and style to hang in our future living room. Right now it’s looking a little wrinkled, but once it’s framed, it will look better.
Andy made the comment to me that I won’t have anything to work on all through the Winter. Little does he know that I have a long list of projects I want to do, so I’ll have plenty to occupy myself with. I’m such a nester! The first thing I want to do is figure out this embroidered tablecloth. Because it’s old, the dimensions aren’t for today’s standard table sizes. It’s too small. I want to figure out how to transfer the pattern to a bigger tablecloth that will fit a larger table, but I don’t have any idea how to do that. If you know how to do this, I’d love some suggestions!
How are your preparations going for Thanksgiving? We’ll be going out of town for the holiday, so tomorrow we’ll be getting ready. We’re going to Andy’s parents’ house in Manti. I’ll be making homemade Tollhouse pie, rolls, and cranberry sauce. Andy is going to make his famous smoked deviled eggs.
Until next time, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
