Happy Thanksgiving from the mountains! Today we’re driving down to Manti, Utah to spend the holiday with Andy’s parents. It’s been snowing everyday this week, and is supposed to continue to snow the rest of week. Hopefully we’ll be able to get out and then back to the cabin after our little road trip.
I made some homemade cranberry sauce, a Tollhouse pie, bourbon apple butter, and homemade rolls for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Andy is making smoked deviled eggs. I’m fighting with the 8,000 feet elevation with my baking….I attempted rolls five different times yesterday, and only one batch turned out. It was so frustrating, and now we’ll have to stop at the store to pick up a package of store-bought rolls. I hate admitting defeat, but we’re out of time. Oh well!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with delicious food surrounded by those you love!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Hansens!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great holiday!
