An Outdoor Adventure

An Outdoor Adventure

Andy just started a new business up here (in addition to his full-time job in Elko).  He’ll be doing snow removal with his new tractor.  He’s already got three customers that live near the rental cabin.  One of his customers is also having Andy take care of her cabin because she can only be here part-time.  She asked Andy if he could put the tracks on her Polaris Ranger and told him that we could use it anytime.  We decided to take it on an outdoor adventure and go see our property.

We didn’t know what the road conditions would be like to go over there and thought the side by side would be a great way to see.  On the drive over there, we ran into an older couple who was stuck on their driveway trying to get out.  Andy shoveled them out while they waited for their son to get there.

The roads to the property weren’t too bad and were mostly plowed.  It was fun taking the Ranger over there, even though it didn’t have any heat.  We went at the end of the day when the sun was starting to set so it was quite cold.  Our property was covered in a thick blanket of snow without any tracks on it that we could see.  We both absolutely love our property and are so glad it’s on the quiet side of the mountain.  It’s absolutely silent over there with hardly anybody around.  We walked around for a bit and then headed back.  Luckily Andy didn’t get a picture of me completely falling over in the snow!
