Drive Through The Mountains

Drive Through The Mountains

On Saturday, we took the Polaris Ranger out for a drive through the mountains.  We like to drive over to our property, and the Ranger makes it so much easier because we take some roads that aren’t plowed.  Since the last time we went there, we’ve gotten two more feet of snow.  There were several roads that didn’t have any tracks yet, and we were the first to drive on them.

Our property is at the bottom of a loop, and there’s a really pretty drive up to the top on a road that is hardly used.  It’s so quiet and undisturbed.  At the top of the loop is a gorgeous lookout of the valley.  We got out to walk around because Aries is scared of the Ranger and huddles on the floor while it’s driving.  In order to make it fun for him, we get him out so he can run through the snow and stick his face in it.  There were some spots at the top that were so deep that the snow went up to Andy’s waist.

Winter is still in full-force up here, and we have to admit, we are definitely looking forward to Spring.  We’ve decided to take a weekend trip to southern Utah at the end of the month to chase some sun and warmer temperatures.
