It’s always so difficult when tragedy strikes your family personally. Over the weekend, we learned that my sister-in-law’s sister was involved in a horrible car crash with her fiancé and is in critical condition. My sister-in-law is English, and all of her family lives in England. It’s been so hard for her to be here knowing what’s happening over there. A Go Fund Me page was started to raise money for Sølviej (my sister-in-law) to travel to England to be with her sister and family.
Whenever something like this happens, it’s easy to get buried by feelings of sadness, helplessness, and mortality. It’s challenging to work through all the emotions in the grief process because there are so many overwhelming emotions. My heart breaks for my sister-in-law and her family as they try to navigate this horrible situation. My only comfort is that this was part of her soul plan and everyone this tragedy touches will have a learning and growing experience.
As with any kind of tragedy, it makes you realize how fleeting life can be. Make sure to hug and kiss your loved ones and tell them how much they mean to you! Every day should be cherished and spent with those you love. And if you can, please say a prayer for my sister-in-law and her family. Thank you!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
